Direct Mail (post#28)

My direct mail needs to have my Yo!Sushi London logo so I've also been looking at different typefaces that I could use and Handwriting Dakota is the one that I've chosen.

To replicate my mural I got the word "London" in slanting position

I've been consistently using a handwritten sort of style so I think it's reasonable to keep within that style. Handwriting Dakota is a nice looking handwritten type that gives a bit of friendliness and it suits my theme really well. This type will be used for my menu, direct mail and menu.

Going back to my direct mail

Here's my finished piece.

measurement: 15cm x 45cm

For the cover, I have the brand's logo inside the polaroid and the  "Come and be a part.." text, appear as if it's a handwritten note. This is going to be the cover so I went for a bright and strong colour background.

I've also have the polaroid on the cover at a different angle to the one inside in order to make it a little more varied.

For the third page, I got the line "Win a Yo! Prize" in handwritten form and emphasised the sales text of the direct mail. Here,  I've also included those coloured lines to keep my designs consistent.

You'll know the reason why I incorporate those lines when you see my menu.
